- M茅tis students. Student must provide proof of citizenship from Otipemisiwak M茅tis Government (M茅tis Nation of Alberta)

- Submission of a short essay outlining reasons for the chosen field of study; how a M茅tis Scholar Award will impact his/her journey towards education and career objectives; and how they are involved in the M茅tis Community
